Linux in Schools

I thnk in my opinion Linux should be in schools, because of it's mature nature and since most the jobs at almost anywhere you work at involve Linux in some form or way wether it is to create a sever or just simply working as a cashier. Linux is everywhere so why not in our school's? It is because staff and parents are afraid of change, this is due to the fact that most people have Windows or a Mac running in their home so they automaticlly assume that it is that way for every other aspect of working in the field or trade you want to be in. This is a weird and ironic way of thinking. The goverment even uses Linux but some branches still use WIndows just because people are familar with it, Linux is the new way of doing things and it shouldn't just be that people are afraid to change and they might like it since trying new things excites us and intriges us. Linux admins get paid a lot of money and to protect data is a very key element in the business of just about anything you could do. Linux could provid a new way of learning since it is basically free and with other free and open source applications school's wouldn't have to worry about the fees of other corperations. It is just that simple, even the Android OS is based off the Linux operating system. Android is very popular so why isn't other Linux distros sharing that market share but instead on desktops. It could be the next revolution. Think Creative, Think Different, Think Linux.

I don't get why people like Windows or Macs so much when so many people use Linux such as IBM, Gov, banks, also in our car computers, Android & WebOS devices.

Well this is my first blog post and I just have to say Linux is awesome but it's sad that not a lot of people in general know about it.
